Love Chelsea

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is the UK’s largest garden and flower show, attracting visitors from all continents. In 2013, the Brewin Dolphin sponsored garden was a homage to native British plants and flowers. The idea for my campaign identity was influenced by the old scientific style of illustration for plants and animals. I selected ten flowers from the plant list, and then commissioned the skills of a local illustrator, Kate Brooks, to replicate the flowers in the chosen illustrative style. I designed color palettes specific to each flower, and sourced the perfect paper for the designs in Cairns Straw White. The identity was carried out across five invitations (one for each day of the show, each with its own chosen flower), a ticket holder with map and directions on the reverse, a plant list booklet, animated web ads, a ten-piece postcard collection, and a canvas souvenir bag.
