The Fitting Room Experience

We were asked by Ralph Lauren to improve the Fitting Room Experience in select stores in New York City. One solution uses beacons at the mannequins, whereby the Ralph Lauren customer receives content specific to the mannequin they are standing in front of. If they like what they see, the customer can explore the look, and tap to add items to a fitting room. Another solution had screens installed in the fitting rooms in order to facilitate a fast, efficient and effective service. RFID tags auto-scan items of clothing as the customer enters the fitting room, and displays the items on the screen. The customer can see alternative colors and sizes, and tap to request a change. Other features include suggested items, environmental control, and beacon profile-syncing.
